About Sangita (Melissa Howden):
Sangita is an experienced Yoga, Meditation & Music teacher with a particular interest in the use of meditation as a cornerstone for healing and for finding solid ground in life’s ups and downs.
She is the founder of Mountain Mindfulness and teaches in Hobart.
About guest teacher Tatiana and the practice of conscious dance:
Conscious Dance with Tatiana is a form of a dialogue with the world within and around the dancer. It is a transformative dance practice that allows to access and express emotions and feelings, embody creativity through movement. It is not a show or a performance but a deeply personal meditative practice. Your inner dance for Yourself, that helps you to feel more aligned and present with your everyday dance.
Through free form movement, sound and gentle guidance we will explore the appreciation of the body in motion and in stillness. We will learn to establish connections between body, breath, mind, awareness and space. We will dance through joys and sorrows into aliveness and the creative field of inspiration. We release and receive.
These sessions are all-inclusive, no age, gender, experience or fitness level requirements.
Tatiana is an experienced Yoga and Meditation teacher. The focus in her work is on making yogic wisdom and practices accessible for people’s healing and growth in daily life experiences and through different mediums. She uses Dance as a form of meditation and mindfulness practice that helps students to reconnect with their emotions and inner world.
