Sound & Silence utilises practices drawn from classical Hatha and Nada Yoga alongside playful sessions that allow us to 'free the natural singing voice', thus enabling the heart-warming vibrational experiences of group harmony singing... woven in with precious times of mindful silence.

Within these retreat practices we can nurture our awareness of the present moment of life, connecting more authentically with ourselves, with each breath, with the earth and the whole natural world; reflecting on the meanings and experiences of internal and external sound vibrations from a yogic perspective.

Many people express that the group harmony singing releases creativity and  joyful vitality in their inner being, becoming the highlight of the retreat. It's fun and uplifting, restorative and cleansing.

As always, the organic garden at Atma Darshan will provide much of our fresh food, with two 'kitchen goddesses' (Samadhi and Shanti) preparing our delicious vegetarian meals.

Immersion in nature is a vital part of this retreat experience; close kinship with the trees, the fresh flowing creek, the birds and other creatures, the earth and sky. 

The creek and birds sing to us day and night, and we will be singing too.

Satyamo is a lover of wild nature and the healing energy of the earth. Her many years of study and personal immersion in yoga and meditation, singing and making music, has evolved into the unique style of the offerings of Yoga Sound & Song.
